Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is a British-American sitarist and musician. She was the first and first woman to receive the British House of Commons Shield she's had Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to perform live in concert and serve as a presenter at the ceremony. Anoushka Shakar, a young emerging superstar on the Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is both the daughter and student of Ravi Shankar. She was a child who bounded between London in the UK to New Delhi.
